Gahden Sports - Walk off at Fenway!

First and foremost I'd just like to wish everyone out there a Happy day after Father's Day today. Yesterday my own father and I went to the sox game and I have to say it could not have ended better as the sox prevailed 6-5 in the bottom of the 9th inning on a walk-off home-run by Nick Green. The sox were down 2-0 after the first, but Wakefield settled in and gave 6 decent innings of work. The Braves almost plated a run in the ninth off of Papelbon, but he stranded the bases loaded to set up Green's first pitch leadoff jack. Overall I have to say it was a great game.

Afterward my father and I participated in the annual "Stroll in the Park" around Fenway. This was another unique moment as we were able to look into the dugouts, touch the Pesky pole and observe the numerous dents in the monster. A great father's day present and one I hope I can share my my own kids some day.
